no of atoms in ccp = y =2
no of tetrahedral voids = x =8
they given that 2/3*x8 = 16/3
so ,
from querry
y/x = 2/16/3
y/x = 3/8

ajaykumar97769: The atoms in ccp or fcc is 4.
ajaykumar97769: So how no. Of atoms in ccp is 2

Answer:x4y3

Explanation:

No. Of atoms in ccp, y=4

No. Of atoms in tetrahedral voids, x = 2/3×8=16/3

X16/3 Y4 = X16 Y(4×3) = X16 Y12 = X4Y3.
