In a compound, atoms of element Y form ccp lattice and those of element X occupy 2/3rd of tetrahedral voids. The formula of the compound will be

Number of atoms of Y = N = 4

Number of atoms of X = 23×2N=23×8=163

∴ Formula of the compound will be X4Y3
