Answer:

C^2H^2Cl^4

Explanation:

C= 14.4% , H=1.2% and Cl=84.4%

atomic mass of C=12.01

H=1.00784

Cl=35.45

gram atomic mass of C=14.4/12.01 = 1 mole

H= 1.2/1.00784= 1

Cl = 84.4/35.45=2

therefore , emperical formula = CHCl^2

emperical mass = 12+1+71

=84

molecular mass/emperical mass = 168/84 = 2

molecular formula is C^2H^2Cl^4

check our answer,

molecular mass = 168

C^2H^2Cl^4 = 168

12*2+1*2+35.45*4= 168

168 = 168
