Don't worry dude, Here is your answer

Atomic mass of oxygen = 16

Atomic mass of Sulphur = 32

If the ratio is 1:1, the the mass of both sulphur and oxygen will be 32

How?

This is because, when you take the ratio of the atomic mass of sulphur and oxygen, you'll get 2:1

To make it 1:1, you need another oxygen atom

Thus, you see, when two oxygen atoms combine, their mass becomes 32

Then you take the ratio, you'll get 1:1

Mass of one atom of sulphur is 32

Mass of two atoms of oxygen is 32

So, the compound is: SO₂
