As per the data given in the above question.

3 computer for 6 students.

We have to find the number of computers for 24 students.

So we have to find the number of student for 1 computer.

 =  \frac{6}{3}  \\  = 2

Per computer 2 students.

The number of computer by 24 student is as follows,

 =  \frac{24}{2}

Now dividing by 2 we get,

 = 12

Hence 12 computer is required for 24 students.
