Given :-

Metres jumped by Radha :- \tt 8 \dfrac{1}{4}

Metres jumped by Gita :- \tt 7 \dfrac{1}{4}

To Find :-

Who jumped more farther and by how much….

Solution :-

 \tt \longrightarrow8 \dfrac{1}{4}  - 7 \dfrac{1}{4}

Convert the mixed fractions to improper fractions, so that the calculation becomes easy......

 \tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{33}{4}  -  \dfrac{29}{4}  =  \dfrac{33 - 29}{4}

 \tt \longrightarrow  \cancel\dfrac{4}{4}  = 1

\Huge\thereforeRadha jumped ahead of Gita by 1 metre.
