In a convex lens, h = 5cm, u = -25cm, f = 10cm. Find the h', v and m.

h = 5cm , u = -25 ,f = 10 cm

1/v - 1/u = 1/f

1/v = 1/f + 1/u

= 1/10 + 1/-25

= 1/10 - 1/25

= 5 - 2/50

= 3/50

v = 50/3

v = 16.6 cm

hi/h = v/u

hi = v (h)/u

= 16.6(5)/-25

hi = -3.32

m = v/u

m = 16.6/-25

m = -0.664
