Ans.
The probability is
![= \frac{6}{30} \\ = \frac{1}{5} = \frac{6}{30} \\ = \frac{1}{5}](https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=+%3D++%5Cfrac%7B6%7D%7B30%7D++%5C%5C++%3D++%5Cfrac%7B1%7D%7B5%7D+)

Total number of balls = 30
Number of times boundary is hit = 6
Number of times boundary is not hit = Total number of balls - Number of times boundary is hit
Number of times boundary is not hit = 30 - 6 = 24
Here, favourable outcomes i.e. number of times boundary is not hit = 24
total number of outcomes i.e. total number of balls = 30
Required Probability (not hit a boundary) = Favourable outcomes ÷ Total number of outcomes
Required Probability (not hit a boundary) = 24/30
Required Probability (not hit a boundary) = 4/5
∴ Required Probability (not hit a boundary) =
54
