In a cricket match, a batsman hits six 8 times out of 32 balls played. Find the probability that a six is not hit in a ball. I m nt able 2 do it... Plz. Answr it quckly...

Hey..

Total no of balls played by a batsman = 32

No of balls, he hits six = 8

=) No of balls, he did not hitted six = 32 - 8

= 24

Hence,

Probability that a six is not hitted by a batsman = No of balls, he did not hitted six / Total No of balls played by him.

=) P = 24/32

= 3/4.

in 32 balls he hits 8 times so probability of not hitting a ball is 32/8 so ans is 4/1
