Answer:

no. of times the batswoman hits a boundary =6

total no. of balls played =30

therefore no. of times that the batswoman does not hit a boundary =30-6

=24

p( she does not hit a boundary )

no .of times when she does not hit a boundary

= ________________________________________

total no. of balls played

24 =4

___ ___

Accroding to the question,

  • Total number of balls = 30
  • Numbers of baundary = 6

So, number of times batswoman didn't hid the boundary = (30-6)=24

Probability she didn't hit a boundary = 24/30=4/5
