Given :-

In a cricket match ,a batswomen hits 6 times out of 30 balls she plays.

 ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄

To Find :-

Find the probability that she did not hit the boundary.

 ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄

Formula used :-

 \frac{favourable \: outcomes}{total \: no. \: of \: outcomes}

 ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄

Solution :-

Batsman hits the boundary = 6 balls

Total no. of balls = 30 balls

Probability of balls that not hit the boundary = 30 -6/30 = 24 / 30 or 4/5.

So,

The probability of balls not hitting the boundary is 24 / 30.

Hopes, it's helpful.
