Step-by-step explanation:

Let the no. of wikets taken by Ravi = x

Then no. of wikets taken by Kapil = (2x-1)

A/q,

x(2x-1) = 15

=>2x² - x = 15

=>2x² - x-15 = 0

=>2x²-6x+5x -15 = 0

=>2x(x-3) +5(x-3) = 0

=>(x-3) + (2x +5) = 0

Therefore, x = -5/2 ( not possible)

So, x = 3 wickets ...

RAVI TOOK 3 WICKETS

KAPIL TOOK 5 WICKETS.
