Average

(c) 6.5

Target score is 307.

Total number of overs is 50.

Average run rate per over for first 20 overs is 5.6 runs per over.

Total runs made by team in first 20 overs is

20 \times 5.6=112

Number of overs left =50-20=30 overs

So, team have to score 307-112=195 more runs to achieve the target.

So, the average runs needed per over in last 30 overs is,

\frac{195}{30}=6.5

Hence on an average 6.5 runs/over is needed to hit the target.
