Answer- Let score of Rajat be 3x and score of Divyansh be x.
Acc. to the statement- 3x+x= 300-8
                                     => 4x = 292
                                     => x= 292/4 = 73
So, score of Divyansh = 73 and score of Rajat = 3 × 73 = 219.. (219+73 = 300-8)

 so, the number of runs scored by rajat  is      = 3x
  so the number of runs they made together    = x + 3x
                                                                          =4x
ATQ,  if they had made 8 runs more, then they would have made a triple century.
so, 4x +8 = 3 century    (1 century = 100 runs)
  or,4x + 8 = 3 x 100
   or, 4x +8 = 300
   or, 4x        =300-8
      or, 4x      = 292
       or, x        = 73
           and 3x = 73 x 3 =219
Ans: So divyansh scored 73 runs and rajat scored 219 runs.
