The progenies of the cross are:---
Tall =45
Dwarf= 14
Total = 59
The ratio of tall plants== 45/59=0.76
The ratio of dwarf plants===
14/59= 0.24
So The Phenotypic ratio of Tall and Dwarf plants is approximately
3 tall and 1 dwarf..

And this Phenotypic ratio of 3:1 is observed when Heterozygous Plants are sef-pollinated..

So the Genotype of the parents was
Tt Heterozygous.

Hope it helps.
Thanks.

This ratio states that it is a monohybrid cross. The phenotypic ratio of 3:1 is observed when heterozygous plants are self-pollinated. Hence, genotype of parents is Tt and Tt.
