HEY!!

Recall the formula, volume of cuboid = length × breadth × height
You know that, area of the base = length × breadth

Therefore, volume of cuboid = area of the base × height
∴440 cm3 = 88 cm2 × height
Thus, height = (440 ÷ 88) cm = 5 cm

hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

we know that the base of a cuboid is a 2d shape.

the base of the cuboid is rectangle.

given that the base area of the cuboid is 88cm²

therefore l × b = 88cm²

volume of the cuboid = 440cm³

=> l × b × h = 440cm³

=> 88 × h = 440cm³

=> h = 440/88

=> h = 5cm

VERIFICATION :-

volume of the cuboid = l × b × h

= 88 × 5

= 440cm³

hence verified

thus the height of the cuboid is 5cm.

hope this helps..!!
