Given:

In a cycle shop, there are a total of 75 cycles comprising both unicycles and bicycles.

Total wheels are 120.

To Find:

The number of unicycles.

Solution:

Let the number of unicycles be x,

then the number of bicycles will be (75 -x)

as we know,

the bicycle has two wheels and unicycles have one wheel.

so,

x + (75 -x) × 2 = 120

x - 2x + 150 = 120

-x = 120 -150

-x = -30

x = 30

Hence, the number of unicycles are 30.
