we all know that light travels in a straight line and mirror reflected the light back.so when light falls on a mirror they reflect back in a straight line.and when light falls on a wall and they have no place to get reflected back so the light looks in a bigger manner.

light always travels in astraight line, which is the property of light. when light falls on a mirror which is highly polished will get regular reflection of light. reflection means bouncing back of light. wall is not so polished as that of mirror so diffused reflection takes place.so reflected light from the wall can be seen from anywhere.
