If the 9th entry is increased by 5, the median would remain the same.

Total number of numbers (n) = 14

Median is calculated by taking the average of (n/2)th and (n/2 + 1)th term.

So, n/2 th and the (n/2 + 1)th term are the 7th and 8th term respectively.

On the 7th and 8th term's average, the median is dependent.

So, if we increase the 9th term, it would not make any effect on the median.
