swaraj3: see in a day we have 24 hours ,in a hour 60 min if u see that the hour hand and minute hand would only meet each other onle once in a hour at any place because min hand is faster than hour uand but the distance need to cover by a minute hand is larger than the distance needed to be covered by hour hand .if u still don't understand then take a watch and keep on rotating the the pin used to change the time u will observe that the they overlap each other 24 times a day
