In a dc motor the developed torque is 200 Nm at 600 rpm. At 500 rpm the motor torque would be?

N = Speed (in rpm)

 T_1 = 200\: Nm \\ N_1 = 600 \:rpm \\ T_2 = ? \\ N_2 = 500 \: rpm

T_1 \times N_1 = T_2 \times N_2

 200\times 600 = T_2 \times 500 \\\implies T_2 =\frac{200\times600}{500} \\\implies T_2 = \frac{120000}{500} \\ \implies T_2 = 240 \: Nm
