Answer:

1st 1200

Explanation:

Because the ratio of phenotype is 3:4

That is 3/4*1600=1200

Answer : 1200 plants

Given :

No.of plants obtained in F2 generation = 1600

To find :

No.of plants that will show dominant trait with dihybrid genotype

Solution :

We know that Phenotypic ratio is 3:4

Hence,

The number of plants that will show dominant trait with dihybrid genotype will be

3/4 × 1600

On cancelling and bringing the equation down to its lowest term we get

3×400

=1200

Hence, The number of plants that will show dominant trait with dihybrid genotype is 1200.
