Answer:

Given :-

Mode = 60

Mean = 66

To find :- Median

Using formula :- Mode= 3 Median - 2 mean

Mode + 2mean = 3Median

60 + 2(66) = 3Median

60 + 132 = 3Median

192/3 = Median

Median is 64.

Given : Mean and mode

Find : Median

Solution : Mean, median and mode are related to each other as per the relation below -

2 Mean + Mode = 3 Median

Let the median be x. Keep the values in formula to find the value of x.

2*66 + 60 = 3x

Performing multiplication

3x = 132 + 60

Performing addition

3x = 192

x =  \frac{192}{3}

Performing division

x = 64

Hence, the value of median is 64.
