In a division sum the divisor is 10 times the quotient and 5 times the remainder. if the remainder is 46 then find the dividend

let quotient be q.  divisor = 10 X q and divisor is also = 5 x (rem), but (rem) = 46
Thus 10 x q = 5 x 46 we get q = 23.  Now  divdend = divisor x quo = rem
so divident = 10(23) + 46 thus ANS:: dividend = 276
