Hi ,

the remainder = r = 6

Let the Quotient = q

Divisor = d = 5q ---( 1 )

d = 3r + 2 -----( 2 )

According to the problem given ,

( 1 ) = ( 2 )

5q = 3r + 2

5q = 3 × 6 + 2

5q = 18 + 2

5q = 20

q = 20 / 5

q = 4

Put q = 4 in equation ( 1 ) , we get

d = 5q

d = 5 × 4 = 20

By division algorithm

Dividend = divisor × quotient + remainder

= d × q + r

= 20 × 4 + 6

= 80 + 6

= 86

I hope this helps you.
