In a drying process product moisture is reduced from 60% to 30%. Inlet weight of the
material is 200 kg. Calculate the weight of the outlet product.

Inlet Weight of the Material = 200 kg

Product Moisture = 60%

Moisture Weight = (60/100)* 200  =  120 kg

Weight other Than Moisture = 200 - 120 = 80 kg

Let say Weight of outlet Product = W

outlet Product have moisture = 30%

Moisture Weight = (30/100)W  = 0.3W

Weight other Than Moisture = W - 0.3W  = 0.7W

0.7W = 80

=> W = 80/.7

=> W = 114.3 kg
