Explanation:

let us assume y represents velocity and t represents time in given expression then we may find dimensions of a & b as following

L.H.S= Y (meter/sec)

dim=[L][T^(-1)]

R.H.S=at+bt

[at]=[bt](since only quantity of same dimensions are additive.)

[Y]=[bT]

since LHS should be equal to RHS

so

[bT]=[LT^(-1)]

b=LT^(-2)

sl.unit: (meter/sec^2)

same a :sl.unit: (meter/sec^2)
