1 bulb power= 50W
so, 10 bulbs = 10*50=500W
1 fan power= 70W
so, 5 fans = 70*5=350W
both the appliances are operated for the same time
total power = 500+350
= 850W
= 850/1000 kW
Time = 12 hours
units of electricity = power * time (it is actually kW*t)
= 850/1000 * 12
=17/5 * 3
=3.4 * 3
=10.2 kWh
1 unit = Rs.2
so, 10.2 kWh = 10.2 * 2
= Rs.20.4
