Answer:

Number of male workers are 375.

Given:

Total workers = 600

Fraction of women workers = \frac{3}{8}

To Find:

Number of male workers.

Step-by-step explanation:

Hint:

x/y fraction of quantity M is given by:

(x × M)/y.

It is given that,

In a factory, there are 600 workers and  3/8 of the workers are females.

So,

First we have to find no of female workers

⇒ 3/8 of 600

⇒ 3/8 × 600

⇒ 1800/8

⇒ 225

so, the number of female workers are 225.

Total no. of workers = female workers + male workers

600 = 225 + male workers

600 - 225 = male workers

375 = male workers

Hence, the number of male workers are 375.
