Hey there !

using unitary method over here

for 15000 bulbs → 60 faulty

if 1 bulb is tested then → 60/15000 faulty

for 6000 → (60× 6000)÷15000 = 24 faulted bulbs

answer = 24 bulbs will be faulted !

Answer:

Hence, 24 bulbs are faulty for every 6000 bulbs.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Number of faulty bulbs for every 15000 bulbs = 60

% of faulty bulbs = 60/15000 x 100 = 6/15 % = 0.4%

So in 6000 bulbs , 0.4% are faulty.

i.e., 6000 x 0.4/100 = 6 x 4 = 24 bulbs are faulty .

Hence, 24 bulbs are faulty for every 6000 bulbs.
