in a factory the production of motorbikes was 40000 in a particular year which goes to 48400 in 2 years find the rate of growth per annum if it was uniform during 2 years

Hey...!!!

Increased production = 48400 - 40000
= 8400

Rate increased = 8400/40000 x 100
= 84/4
= 21%

Growth per annum = 21 x
1/2
= 10.5%

the growth is 48400-40000=8400

growth in 2 years in percentage

 \frac{8400}{40000}  \times 100 \\  \\  = 21\%
growth per annum =1/2 * 21

=10.5%
