Question :-

  • in a factory with 400 workers, 250 of them are in salary grade 'A' and the rest in ' B'. find the ratio of total no. of workers in salary grade ' A ' and the no. of workers in salary grade 'A' to the no. of workers in salary grade ' B'
  • solve it as easy steps

Concept :-

  • In this question, 400 workers are working in a factory. 250 workers are in salary A and the rest are in Salary B. So we will subtract 250 from 400 to get the no.of workers in salary B. Then we will convert it = Salary A : Salary B.

Solution :-

=> 250 + workers in salary B = 400

=> Workers in salary B = 400 - 250

=> Workers in salary B = 150

In ratio :-

=> Workers in salary A : workers in salary B

=> 250 : 150
