Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

let the ratio be x

so,

3x + 2x = 4000

5x = 4000

x = 800

i) Provisions = 3 * 800 = 2400

ii) Vegetables = 2 *800 = 1600

Answer:

(i) 2400

(ii) 800

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the money spend for provisions be 3a and money spend for vegatables be 2a.

Alloted money = 4000

= > money spend for provisions + money spend for vegatables = 4000

= > 3a + 2a = 4000

= > 5a = 4000

= > a = 4000/5

= > a = 800

Therefore,

Money spend for provisions is 3a = 3(800) = Rs 2400

Money spend for vegatables is 2a = 2(800) = Rs 1600
