let us assume that consumption of family members is x

consumption of first member 5x

consumption of 2nd member 2x

5x+2x=35(eg.3 kg consumption is done by 1st one and 2 kg done by other member therefore total 3+2=5kg total consumption)

5x+2x=35

7x=35

x=5

consumption by 1st one 5×5=25kg

2nd 2×5=10kg
