Answer:

Let

Age of A = a

Age of B = a + 5

Age of C = a + 5 + 5 = a + 10

Age of D = a + 5 + 5 + 5 = a + 15

Age of E = a + 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 = a + 20

a + a + 5 + a + 10 + a + 15 + a + 20 = 75

Grouping like terms

(a + a + a + a + a) + (5 + 10 + 15 + 20) = 75

5a + 50 = 75

5a = 75 - 50

5a = 25

a = 25/5

a = 5

Age of youngest child = 5 years
