hence By Pythagoras theorem
In triangle BEC,
BCsquare= BEsquare + CEsquare
50= 1 + CEsquare. ........(BE=1 unit)
so,
CE= root49 =7 units
therefore,
EF=FG=GH=HE.....(.: EFGH is a square)
CE=CF+FE
.:CF=BF=1 unit
EF=CE-CF
=CE-BE
.:EF=7-1= 6
.: Area of square (EF) square = 36
