IN a figure the sides of a rectangle ABCD are 10 cm and 6 cm .
a) What is the area of the triangle ?
b) What is the area of the triangle BCM ?

area of rectangle = 10 x 6 = 60

area of the triangle = 1/2 x b x h

= 1/2 x 10 x 6 =30
