in a firing contest,the probabilities that kojo and kwame hit the target are 2/5 and1/3 respectively.What is the probability that none of them will hit the target

The answer is 1st find the LCM of the numbers the denominator 3 and 5 ,so now after doing the following question which I just said we will find out their LCM is 15 because 3x5=15 then we will multiply the numbers 1 and 2 as stated in the question we will multiply 1x5 and 2x3 which will lead us to the number 5 and 6,so now the fractions are 5 by 15 and 6 by 15 then subtract 5 from 15 and 6 from 15

therefore the 6-15=9 by 15 and 5-15=10 by 15
