In a flight of 2800km an aircraft was slowed down due to bad weather its average speed is reduced by 100km/h and time increased by 30 minutes . find the original duration. Of the flight

Speed=distance/time

So, x=2800/t

Where x is speed and t is time.

Then, t = 2800/x

Now atq:-

X-100=2800/2800/x + 1/2

X-100 = 2800(2x)/5600+x

X^2-100x+5600x-560000=5600x

X^2-100×-560000=0

Therefore,x=950.

Then,t=2800/950

T=2.94h

I.e. t=176.4 minutes...
