Answer:

There are 23 rose plant in first row,21 rose plant in second row and 19 rose plant in third row.

Likewise it forms an A.P. 23,21,19,17..... with first term 23 and common difference -2.

Now, suppose last term is 5 and there are n rows.

So, Using concept of A.P.

Last term= a+(n-1)d

5= 23+(n-1)(-2)

5= 23-2n+2

2n=20

n=10

Hence, there are 10 rows in flower bed.
