Step-by-step explanation:

  • So the garland will be in the form of a circle. Now if we choose a point on a circle and others can be arranged in n – 1 form. So in this question blue, red and yellow colour together garland has to be made.
  • Consider the blue flower and so we have 2 consecutive blue flowers which are together and it is 2!
  • Similarly 2 red flowers in different place will be in 2! Ways.
  • Similarly one yellow is chosen in different place will be in 1! Ways.
  • Now clockwise and anticlockwise will be different.
  • So total permutation will be 2! X 2! X 1!
  • Therefore the possible ways will be 2 x 2 x 1 = 4
