Here is your answer,

=============================================

In the flowering plants after the fertilization takes place, the stamen, petals, and the sepals fall off due to withering.

The only thing that remains attached to the plant is the pistil.

The zygote of the flower develops as an embryo, and the seeds form from the ovules.

============================================

HOPE THIS HELPS YOUU :)

AND STAY BLESSED.
