Given Data :

Total number of goals = 18

A scores = 60%

So, if Team A scores 60% of total score than Team B did score 40%.

Team A's score = 60% of 18

= (60/100) × 18

= (1080/100)

= 10.8

So, Team A scores 10.8 goals which is NOT possible when we talk about goal. Because goals only count as whole. TEAM A SCORES EITHER 10 GOALS OR 11 GOALS AND TEAM B SCORES EITHER 8 GOALS OR 7 GOALS.
