In a forest the number of Nilgiri trees is thrice of the number
of the Jambhul trees. If there are altogether 320 trees, then
find numbers of each trees.​

Let the no. of Jambhul trees be x.

No. of nilgiri trees = 3x

Total no. of trees = 320

x + 3x = 320

4x = 320

x = 320/4

x = 80

Therefore, Jambhul trees are 80

3x = 80x3 = 240

Therefore, Nilgiri trees are 240
