Given:

Four digit number - 5a3b

a>b and a = b

To Find:

Difference of the number and its cube root

Solution:

Since, 5a3b , a>b

If b=1 , a=1³ = 1

Thus, it is not possible as a is not greater than b .

If b=2 , a = 2³ = 8

This situation is possible as a>b .

Therefore, the number will be 5832

5832 = 23 × 36

Cube root of 5832 = 18

Difference of the number = 5832−18

= 5814

Answer: Thus, the difference of the number is 5814.
