Step-by-step explanation:

Let The Numerator be x

". ". denominator be y

By Data

x-1/y-1=1/2

2(x-1)=1(y-1)

2x-2=y-1

2x-y=1 ............ Equation(1)

x+2/y=2/3

3(x+2)=2y

3x+6=2y

3x-2y=-6 .......... Equation (2)

Multiplying Equation (1) By 2

Therefore

4x-2y=2

Now By Elimination method

4x-2y=2

3x-2y=-6

-. +. +

_____________

x. =8 ........Putting In Equation (1)

2x-y=1

2(8)-y=1

16-y=1

-y=1-16

-y=-15

y=15

Therefore,The Fraction is x/y=8/15
