let fraction is x / y

x + 2/ y - 3 = 1

x + 2 = y - 3

x - y = -5

Take -1 common we get

-x + y = 5 eq1

x - 2/y + 3 = 3/8

8 (x - 2) = 3 (y + 3)

8x - 16 = 3y + 9

8x - 3y = 25 eq2

Multiply eq 1 by 3 we get

-3x + 3y = 15
8x -3y = 25

5x = 40

x = 8

Put x in eq1

-8 + y = 5

y = 13

Fraction is x/y = 8/13
