let the numerator be x
denominator = 2x-23 is added :-Numerator= x+3
Denominator= 2x-2+3
                     =2x+1x+3/2x+1
                     =2/33(x+3)
                     =2(2x+1)3x+9
                     =4x+23x-4x
                     =2-9-x
                     =-7-x
   SO,
Original Numerator = x
                               = 7
   SO,
Original Denominator = 2x-2
                                   = 2(7)-2
                                   = 14-2
                                   = 12
SO,
Original Fraction = 7/12
