3
according to the given information,
numerator = 2x
and,
denominator = x
= 2x / x
therefore if 3 is added to both the sides then,
= 2x + 3 / x + 3
2x + 3 / x + 3 = 2 / 3 (A.T.Q)
by cross multiplication,
3 ( 2x + 3 ) = 2 ( x + 3 )
⇒ 6x + 9 = 2x + 6
⇒ 6x - 2x = 6 - 9
⇒ 4x = - 3
⇒ x = - 3 / 4
therefore the fraction is ,
2x / x
= 2 * - 3 / 4 / - 3 / 4
= - 3 / 2 / - 3 / 4
= - 3 / 2 * 4 / -3
=   2
therefore i think that the fraction is 2 / 1 or 2 .
    i hope that my answer will help u...............................^_^
