We know that if 'a' is the mid value of a class and 'h' is the class size, then the lower and upper limits of the class are a - h/2 and a + h/2.

Given : In a frequency distribution, the mid value of a class is 15 and the class interval is 4.

Here , a = 15 and h = 4

The lower limit of the class is :   a - h/2

= 15 - 4/2

= 15 - 2

= 13

Hence, The lower limit of the class is 13.

Option (C) 13 is correct.
